If you are intending to migrate to Australia under the General Skilled Migration program you must apply to the Optometry Council for a Skills Assessment. Unless you are currently registered with one of the Australian state or territory optometrists registration boards, the Skills Assessment is by way of the Competency in Optometry Examination.
